The purpose of Sunshine Place is to bring to realization our Christian concern and care for all persons. It is to provide educational, emotional, social, intellectual and developmental nurture to young children. Our program is open to all children ages 2 to 5.
The Sunshine Place Staff is made up of highly motivated teachers who are educated and experienced in early childhood education.
Sunshine Place is open Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Children may attend half-days (up to 5 hours) or full-days (up to 10 hours). Lunch and two snacks are included in our weekly fee.
Sunshine Place has a theme based curriculum which covers literature/language arts, math/science, music/movement and art. Our activities are geared towards developing pre-reading and pre-writing skills. In addition we have a weekly bible lesson that stresses Christian Values. Our children attend chapel every Tuesday morning under the leadership of Pastor Wes Neal. Grace before meals and snacks is part of our daily routine.
